Mr Jay Chatterjee

I am a Consultant Gynaecologist and Gynae Oncology surgeon. I  provide all aspects of surgical Gynaecological and Gynaecological-Oncological care. I am internationally known for my surgical expertise in advanced open abdominal and laparoscopic/robotic operative skills. I perform advanced robotic surgery and fertility-preserving surgery in gynaecological cancers. I am also an expert in Hormone Management and a BSCCP accredited trainer in Colposcopy.

I am a senior consultant at the Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (Guildford), associated with the renowned St Luke’s Cancer Centre.

I received an academic doctoral program at Imperial College, London (Division of Surgery and Cancer, Institute of Reproductive and Developmental Biology, Hammersmith Hospital campus). I have an active research interest and supervise doctoral and MD students doing translational and clinical research in gynaecological and  gynae-oncological conditions. I have contributed to a wide range of articles in my chosen field of specialisation and am also part of the team involved in research with Human Uterine transplant in the UK.
