Ultrasound scans for this package are performed by one of our Sonographers. A series of 2 ultrasound scans gives you the reassurance that your pregnancy is progressing as it should. - Your first scan will be an Early Pregnancy Scan (performed from 6 - 13 + 6 weeks). - Your second scan will be a Gender Scan (performed from 16 - 32 weeks).
This package includes 3 scans throughout your pregnancy: - 1x Early Pregnancy Scan (6-13 + 6 weeks) - 1x Prenatal Safe 3 or 5 Screening and Blood Test (10+ weeks) - 1x Growth Scan (14 - 35 +6 weeks) (Kindly note: If you would like to upgrade your Prenatal Safe Screening to 5 Plus Di George, there will be an upgrade charge of £25 - Please speak to the reception team.) *Prenatalsafe bloods takes 3-5 working days and 7-10 working days for Di-George, nurses will phone the patient with the results. The PrenatalSafe 3 and 5 includes the following: Fetal sex (if desired to know), Downs Syndrome, Edwards Syndrome & Patau Syndrome and in addition with prenatalsafe 5 you will get Sex Chromosome results (explained by nurses). The Prenatal Safe 5 + Digeorge will increase the package by £25 and Includes all the tests within prenatalsafe 5 but in addition to that the DiGeorge Synodrome. These can be explained in detail by the nurses at your first appointment.

This scan is both an internal transvaginal and abdominal ultrasound scan. You are required to fast 8hrs before your appointment and a full bladder is required for the scan. We recommend having a large glass of water, roughly one hour before your appointment.
