Female Fertility Health Assessment

Why Should You Consider a Female Fertility Health Assessment?

Taking control of your fertility is a powerful step towards planning the future you want. A female fertility test, or Fertility Health Assessment, gives you clear, personalised insights into your fertility status and your ability to conceive—knowledge that can help you make confident, informed decisions about your reproductive journey.

More and more women are choosing to check their fertility —whether it’s because they’re not yet ready to start a family, would like information on where they stand with their fertility as the step towards planning their family or perhaps haven’t found the right partner and want to explore options like egg freezing to preserve their chances for the future. For many, it’s also the first step toward considering parenthood as a single woman with the support of donor sperm.

No matter your situation, a Fertility Health Assessment at The Surrey Park Clinic empowers you with the vital information you need to shape your reproductive future on your terms.

What Does the Assessment Involve?

Our comprehensive assessment includes a pelvic ultrasound scan, a blood test, and a one-on-one consultation with a fertility specialist. The blood test measures your Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) levels to help gauge your ovarian reserve the number of eggs you have available. The ultrasound looks for any factors such as polyps, fibroids, or cysts that might affect fertility and counts your antral follicles to further assess your egg reserve

How is the Assessment Performed?

The AMH test is a simple blood draw, and the pelvic ultrasound is an internal scan of your womb and ovaries. An internal ultrasound scan is performed to gauge Antral Follicle Count. Your results will be reviewed during a follow-up consultation where a fertility specialist will discuss your medical history, lifestyle, and what your fertility status means for you. The entire process requires just two clinic visits and is minimally invasive.

What Happens Next?

During your consultation, your specialist will explain your results and discuss how your medical history and lifestyle might impact your fertility. They will offer advice on ways to improve your reproductive health and discuss any options or treatments that could support you in your journey to conceive.

If treatment is recommended, The Surrey Park Clinic will create a personalised plan tailored to your needs, maximising your chances of pregnancy. After your consultation, you’ll receive a full breakdown of your treatment options and costs, including medications.
